“Ashish Naskar, a trained Hindustani classical singer from Kolkata, is the lead vocalist of Mumbai's multi-genre band Yugaant. He has recorded scratch vocals for renowned singers Shankar Mahadevan and Javed Ali. Ashish is also actively involved in social service activities, conducting songwriting workshops for NGOs like the Steve Waugh Foundation and corporate entities such as TATA AIG. He currently manages MusoMagic India's Academy & Production Studio in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.”
SIDDHARTH SHENOY
“Starting at the tender age of 3, Siddharth embarked on his musical journey with Hindustani vocals and harmonium, before transitioning to Western music. With a strong inclination towards production, sound design, and performance, he is passionate about sharing his self-composed music with the world. In Yugaant, Siddharth excels in multiple roles—he produces, plays the keys, provides backing vocals, and manages the audio aspect, contributing to the band's overall sound and performance.”
SUKHPREET GILL
“Sukhpreet Singh Gill is a beatboxer and lyricist for the band Yugaant. He contributes additional vocals and serves as the frontman alongside Ashish. With a rich musical background, Sukhpreet has facilitated workshops for Muso Magic India and collaborated with corporate giants like AWS and Maurice Blackburn. Having honed his beatboxing skills for the past 5 years, he brings a dynamic presence to the stage and effortlessly connects with the audience, making him an integral part of Yugaant.”
VISHAL BHANUSHALI
“Vishal Ramesh Bhanushali is a professional drummer known for his versatility across multiple genres. With five years of drumming experience, he showcases a high level of dedication to his craft. Despite being the youngest member of the band, Vishal's skills and commitment make him an invaluable asset. Outside of music, he enjoys playing cricket, running, and engaging in various hobbies. His talent has garnered recognition from renowned artists on Instagram, solidifying his presence in the music community.”
PRATYAY MISHRA
“Pratyay, a guitarist and music producer, holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Production. From his teenage years, he found inspiration in legendary rock and metal bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd. As he delved deeper into music theory and explored new time signatures, he developed a strong affinity for Progressive Rock and Progressive Metal, embracing bands like Opeth, Tool, Haken, and Porcupine Tree. Pratyay's ultimate goal is to create progressive songs that resonate with the masses, and his joining of Yugaant in July 2022 is a step towards realizing that dream.”
HARSH DAMANIA
“Harsh Damania, the Bass player of Yugaant, initially chose drums but later found his true calling in bass to connect rhythm and melody. With a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, he brings his passion for mechanics and electronics to the music world. Harsh's fast learning skills make him a vital bridge between rhythm and music. Beyond music, he owns GOLDENCLEF PRODUCTIONS, directing music videos and commercials. Harsh also oversees the visual and video department for Yugaant.”
